​Magaly "Maggie" Vilató brings a diverse and rich background to her role as a Legal Assistant at Coray Law Office PC, offering a unique blend of experience in criminal justice, education, and sociology. Her multifaceted career reflects a deep commitment to serving and empowering individuals across various sectors. Maggie's professional journey began in March 2002 when she assumed the role of Probation Counselor at Contra Costa County, California. Over five years, until August 2007, she provided guidance and support to individuals navigating the probation system, honing her skills in case management and rehabilitative services. Following her tenure in probation, Maggie transitioned to the field of education, dedicating over a decade as a Special Education Assistant in the Bay Area. In this capacity, she worked closely with students requiring tailored educational support, demonstrating patience, empathy, and a steadfast commitment to inclusive learning environments.​

Maggie's academic pursuits are equally commendable. She studied Drama and General Education at Diablo Valley College, graduating in 1992. She then pursued Sociology at San Francisco State University from 1993 to 1995. After years of professional experience, Maggie returned to San Francisco State University to continue her education, underscoring her dedication to personal and professional growth.​ In addition to her roles in probation and education, Maggie has engaged in projects highlighting her commitment to social issues. Notably, she produced a podcast episode titled "Black Lives Matter Movement #1," where she delved into the history and media portrayal of the movement, reflecting her dedication to fostering informed discussions on critical societal topics.
